I’m so excited to be able to share my experience with you as I not only transition between careers but also as I become more and more involved with my kids as a mother and mentor (I created a workout for them today so I’ll let you know how that goes!) and also as I progress through my pregnancy and overcome obstacles!
I am now 11 weeks pregnant and keeping control of my weight as well as curbing cravings by ensuring I am eating what my body needs and if I do end up craving something then I evaluate my diet that day to figure out where I was lacking. Too many days I focus too much on carbs on proteins so I end up lacking in healthy fats or fruits. It’s important, during pregnancy especially, that you pay close attention to what you eat as your body will tell you where you are lacking you just have to pay attention 😉😉
Most importantly, for anyone, is to make sure you are doing what makes you happy. Never settle for mediocre and never let anyone tell you that you can’t. Just because someone else has determined they can’t doesn’t mean it applies to you. Who would have thought being overweight for nearly 20 years would lead to being a personal trainer?? Anything is possible when you put your mind to it you just have to believe in yourself and put actions to your beliefs.
