People are always saying how they don’t have time or they’re too old or they don’t have the resources or whatever other million excuses they can think of for not achieving a goal. What it comes down to: if they are coming up with excuses, then that goal isn’t a priority, it’s a dream. A dream they are perfectly happy just thinking about and not going after.
Now, when someone says to me, “this is what I want, this is how I’m going to do it, I’m gonna make it happen” then that’s when I know they are tired of dreaming. We only dedicate to what we see as a priority. Anything else takes a back seat.
That being said, I chose to highlight Venus Williams today because she is the shining example of what this means.
